Welcome to IMAGIkid. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of imagikid.net (the "Site") and the AI-personalized storybook service operated by IMAGIkid ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
IMAGIkid creates personalized, AI-illustrated children's storybooks. You provide a photo and details about your child; our AI generates a custom 32-page illustrated PDF storybook featuring your child as the hero, which is delivered to your email address after purchase.
Free preview: Before purchasing, you may generate a free preview of your book's cover with no credit card required.
AI-generated content: All illustrations and story text are created by artificial intelligence. Results will vary. While we strive for high-quality, realistic depictions of your child, AI illustration is not a perfect science and exact likeness is not guaranteed.
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child whose photo you upload. By uploading a child's photo, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to do so.
When you complete a purchase on our Site:
- You authorize IMAGIkid to charge your payment method the amount displayed at checkout.
- All prices are in US dollars.
- Your digital PDF storybook will be delivered to the email address you provide, typically within 30 minutes of payment confirmation.
- Order confirmation emails serve as your receipt.
Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. We reserve the right to decline refunds where there is evidence of abuse of our refund policy (e.g., repeated purchases and refunds by the same customer).
Your storybook is delivered exclusively as a digital PDF file via email. It is your responsibility to provide a valid, accessible email address at checkout. IMAGIkid is not responsible for delivery failures caused by full inboxes, spam filters, or incorrect email addresses.
If you do not receive your PDF within 60 minutes of purchase, contact us at brandi.lynn.eckert@gmail.com and we will resend it.
Physical books: Printed hardcover editions are not currently available. When they launch, additional shipping terms will apply and will be disclosed at checkout.
By uploading a photo to our service, you confirm:
- You own the photo or have the right to use it for this purpose.
- You are the parent or legal guardian of every child depicted in the uploaded photo.
- You consent to the photo being processed by our AI service as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to refuse service if uploaded content violates these requirements.
You agree not to:
- Upload photos of children for whom you are not the parent or legal guardian.
- Upload photos of adults, public figures, or celebrities without authorization.
- Attempt to generate content that is sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate for children.
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit any AI-generated content without our written permission.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access our service.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our AI systems or prompt structures.
We reserve the right to cancel any order that violates these terms, without refund.
Your content: You retain all rights to photos you upload. You grant IMAGIkid a limited, temporary license to process those photos solely to generate your storybook.
Generated storybooks: Upon purchase, IMAGIkid grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to use, print, and share your generated storybook for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Our platform: All software, design, prompts, brand elements, and non-generated content on the Site are owned by IMAGIkid and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
AI-generated content: The copyright status of AI-generated images and text is subject to evolving law. We make no warranty regarding the copyrightability of generated storybook content.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee that AI-generated illustrations will precisely resemble your child or that the service will be uninterrupted. Our 30-day satisfaction guarantee is your exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with generated content.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMAGIKID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully — it explains how we handle your child's photo and personal information.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
